A. What is a Life Manifesto?
A Life Manifesto is a declaration of your beliefs, values, vision, mission, how you overcome challenges and treat people and how you want to spend your time, talent, and treasure that fulfils the highest, truest and fullest expression of God’s will for your life. It also asks existential questions such as which may unravel the mystery of the human identity.

B. Why do you need a Life Manifesto?
Life on earth is a journey of trials and triumphs to achieve why you exist; hence you need light, direction, focus, motivation, support, truths, strategies, encouragement, and rules to live by to help you to show up each day till the finish line.
C. The aims of a Life Manifesto are:
• To live life with clarity, authenticity, confidence, and power
• To take charge of your life
• To strengthen a victorious and overcoming identity
• To design your life for growth and leadership
• To provide direction and meaning in trials, struggles and hardships
• To redefine, rethink, and reimagine failures and mistakes
• To empower you to persevere
• To serve as an impetus toward striving for growth and excellence
• To gain self-mastery
• To make you healthy and wealthy in all dimensions of your life
• To guide you through your journey to self-actualisation
• To unleash your human agency for creative freedom
• To engage you in a self-discovery and truth-seeking
• To make this world a better place
D. How to write a Life Manifesto?
You may write your principles in each dimension [spiritual, health, family, social, money, dealing with mistakes and failures, challenges, etc.] of your life based on truths that resonate with you or have pivotally impacted you. These can come from the Bible or from the wisdom of people you respect, like your parents, teachers, experts or philosophers.
The ethos in writing your Life Manifesto are:
• 3 Ps - Use positive, purposeful and powerful language.
• Do not use buzzwords, jargon and technical words.
• Make your statements short and straightforward, written in the present tense.
Example:
SPIRITUAL
Everything I have including my life belongs to God.

HEALTH
I eat healthy food, get 8 hours of sleep and take responsibility to maintain it as a healthy dwelling of the Holy Spirit.

E. How to implement a Life Manifesto?
Print several copies. You may put one on top of your desk so you can declare it to yourself every day before you start work. You may also put one on your bedside so you can read it again before you sleep.

Read it if you are struggling, before a presentation, on your birthday. Challenge your inner critic with these principles.
You may also journal your journey and record your experience.
